Moxie Software Names New CEO
Moxie Software, a provider of enterprise social software, has named Rebecca Ward as its new president and CEO, replacing Tom Kelly, who will continue to serve on the board of directors.
Prior to her role at Moxie Software, Ward was the CEO of Tealeaf, which was acquired by IBM in June 2012. Ward alsoserved as group president of engineering, marketing, and product development at Digex, and worked for BBN/GTE Internetworking, where she held the position of vice president of product management and engineering. Rebecca started her career at Xerox.
"Rebecca's demonstrated leadership in the customer experience industry and in managing high-growth companies is the right combination to take Moxie Software to the next level," said Warren Weiss, general partner at Foundation Capital, in a statement. "This is an exciting time for the company, and the board of directors along with Tom Kelly are confident that the appointment of Rebecca will accelerate Moxie’s growth."
