LivePerson Acquires Synchronite to Offer Co-Browsing
LivePerson, a provider of live digital engagement solutions, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire German startup Synchronite, a provider of co-browsing technology. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Synchronite's collaborative solution works with complex Web applications across all modern browsers on all devices and even allows for offsite co-browsing, while promising speed, security, and scalability.
LivePerson's live digital engagement technology integrates patented predictive targeting technology that helps brands understand their site visitors' intent and value, enabling them to meaningfully connect through engagement tools including chat, voice, personalized messaging, and video chat, across all channels and devices. It also offers LP Insights, a text analytics solution that pulls chat transcript data and data from email, social media, call transcripts, the Web, and more.
By adding Synchronite's co-browsing solution to the LiveEngage platform, LivePerson customers will be able to provide real-time collaborative assistance to help consumers complete tasks, such as filling out forms, resolving technical issues, completing purchases, and navigating Web sites.
