Leads360 Introduces New Automated Text Message Capabilities
Leads360, a lead management software company, recently added automated text messaging to its offerings, allowing sales associates to automate the process of composing and sending text messages via the SPAM-compliant Short Message Service (SMS) protocol.
"As more consumers communicate through mobile devices it is important all channels of communication are considered during the sales process," said Nick Hedges, president and CEO of Leads360 in a statement. "While phone calls and emails continue to be an effective way to communicate with a prospect, at times there is nothing better than a text."
A study from the Pew Research Center shows that at least half of Americans ages 18 to 29 send at least 40 text messages a day, and half of those ages 30 to 49 send at least 10 per day.
Founded in 2004, Los Angeles-based Leads360 enables clients to distribute, track, analyze, and convert sales leads using a customizable lead management workflow. The company's text messaging service determines which prospects' phone numbers are text message-capable and sends replies to the sales associate via email, eliminating the need to know the customer's cell phone number or use a cell phone. Leads360 also enables users to monitor and record all text communications for compliance purposes.
Leads360 Automated Text messaging is included in the Small Business and Enterprise editions. The Small Business edition starts at $50 per user and month. Pricing for the Enterprise edition is based on client needs and other factors.
