GoldMine Launches GoldMine Cloud

GoldMine today launched GoldMine Cloud service in partnership with nGenx, a cloud services provider of hosted applications and desktops.

GoldMine Cloud leverages the nGenx technology platform and deploys across Google Compute Engine (GCE).

nGenx collaborates with strategic partners such as GoldMine, Microsoft, Google, Independence IT, and others to develop hosted application solutions provided via nFinity nWorkspace, the company's cloud desktop-as-a service (DaaS) platform.

"The deployment with GoldMine represents the successful synergy of our partners, helping to expand the CRM and contact management pioneer's total addressable market and eliminating installation, maintenance and management issues through cloud-based delivery," said J.D. Helms, CEO of nGenx, in a statement.

GoldMine Cloud provides a new subscription option and a BYOL (bring your own license) for existing GoldMine users who are interested in transitioning from local on premises IT management. The availability of GoldMine Cloud complements the company's product portfolio, providing users with flexible deployment options across any computing platform connected to the Internet. An outright purchase option for on premises use remains available as well.

"The advantages of a cloud desktop over single app-SaaS are strong. GoldMine Cloud desktops leverage the refined development in leading Windows applications, provide easier access for users and lower combined cost over multiple subscriptions, and allow interoperability between other applications—a difficulty with multiple cloud vendors," said Paul R. Petersen, vice president and general manager of GoldMine, in a statement.

GoldMine Cloud will first be available in North America with U.K. availability by end of June.
