Experian Data Quality Launches Self-Service Email Validation Tool
Experian Data Quality, a provider of data quality software and services, has released self-service bulk email validation on its Web site. This is the first in a new line of self-service software-as-a-service offerings the company is releasing to provide customers with additional access options to data quality tools.
The tool allows organizations to upload a list of email data for Experian Data Quality to validate. A sample of the results are returned and customers then purchase the resulting output with a credit card and download the file instantly. This allows businesses to test the health of their email lists and then improve them based on the results.
The email-validation platform is backed by the security reputation of Experian and a 99.5 percent service level agreement. Experian Data Quality checks the email for the syntax, domain, mail server, and account. All validation occurs in real time and is not based on a reference database.
"Our clients and the market have told us they would like to validate lists of email addresses quickly and efficiently without having to interact with our staff," said David Northridge, senior vice president of global product strategy at Experian Data Quality, in a statement. "The launch of a self-service bulk email verification tool is the first of several products we plan to bring to the market in an ecommerce fashion that enable specific common data sets to be checked quickly for accuracy and provided to the client in an easy-to-understand fashion. These tools will allow for faster delivery of data-cleansing services and enable our clients to see value from their data faster."
