Druva Launches inSync for Salesforce
Druva, a provider of cloud data protection and information management, has added Salesforce.com to its portfolio of enterprise cloud applications, which includes Box, Google Suite, and Office 365.
Druva's unified cloud-to-cloud backup, archival, and governance will help companies protect business data inside Salesforce and make it available for recovery and responses to legal and compliance needs.
With Druva inSync, Salesforce admins will now have direct access to a unified data protection platform from within Salesforce to backup, archive, manage, and view their data for availability, litigation, and compliance purposes.
InSync gives companies a single access point for protecting, viewing, and managing end-user data across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and cloud applications. The application offers the following capabilities:
- Object Level Backup and Recovery, offering time-indexed snapshots, direct access, and visibility of Salesforce data down to the object level, including custom objects from third-party applications.
- Dedicated Salesforce Dashboard that provides a single view directly from within Salesforce for administrators to manage backup policies, perform object-level recovery, and configure alerts.
- Legal Holds, enabling legal teams to preserve, gain access to, and have visibility into data to support litigation and investigative needs.
- Compliance Monitoring, unifying data across end-user devices and cloud applications (Office 365, Google Suite, Box and Salesforce).
Druva inSync for Salesforce will be available in early 2017.
