Datameer Partners with Tableau on Data Visualization Tool

Datameer, providers of a big data insights platform for rapid data discovery, announced a technology connector with Tableau Software, a provider of business analytics. Joint customers of Datameer and Tableau can now consume, shape, enrich, and visualize information for all of their big data needs.

The combination of Datameer plus Tableau enables users to leverage Hadoop in a completely self-service environment. With a familiar spreadsheet interface users can integrate, prepare, and analyze all of their structured and unstructured data in Datameer with a single click and automatically open it to either Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server to augment traditional reporting and visual discovery capabilities on highly aggregated, structured data.
