Chute, a provider of enterprise user-generated content (UGC) marketing, has launched Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud to help companies use owned media and gather and publish community-driven visual content.
"Communities have many purposes and varying members, but one common challenge for community managers is getting and maintaining the attention of their audience," said Ranvir Gujral, CEO of Chute, in a statement. "Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud makes it possible for community managers to leverage the power of visuals to overcome this challenge, whether product images or photos shared by their community members, to not only add interest to their sites, but also more effectively communicate in order to accomplish their goals."
Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud includes several Lightning-Ready Components, including the following:
- Social Galleries: Drop in photo galleries featuring product images or the photos of employees, partners, and customers from events and conferences, launches, and news announcements, social media, and contests, to increase participation;
- Media Chooser: Allow community members to upload images and videos directly into the community site (upon moderation) for promotional contests or sharing images from the field; and
- Stories: Add photos and videos to text-based articles, including how tos, guides, and blog posts within Community Cloud.
Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud enables community managers to tap into visuals to add authentic content to their online hubs and to tie in strong calls-to-action by highlighting specific offerings with visual content and links to buy or learn more.
