CampaignAbility Integrates Nonprofit Fundraising Software with Salesforce.com

CampaignAbility, a provider of cloud-based Web and social media fundraising solutions for small to medium nonprofits, charities, and foundations, has introduced CampaignConnect to integrate all of its fundraising and donor affinity tools with the Salesforce.com Foundation Nonprofit Starter Pack (NPSP).

CampaignConnect for Salesforce.com interconnects CampaignAbility's complete suite of fundraising software, including Web shops, online auctions, online donations, peer-to-peer social fundraising, and event management with the Salesforce.com donor and relationship management solution.

The CampaignConnect integration module is available for CampaignAbility users to download from Salesforce.com within their Salesforce.com donor management systems. CampaignConnect allows nonprofits that use CampaignAbility's Web and social media fundraising software to do the following:

  • Access and use campaigns defined in Salesforce.com;
  • Create account and contact records in Salesforce.com from information about supporters who buy, donate, or register for events within CampaignAbility;
  • Create opportunity records in Salesforce.com for any transaction type and link them to contacts and campaigns; and
  • Pass transaction information to Salesforce.com, enabling nonprofits to use all of the reporting and analysis tools available in the Nonprofit Starter Pack.

"Small to medium nonprofits with limited resources need fundraising and donor tools that do not create additional integration headaches for staff," said Peter Havart-Simkin, CEO of CampaignAbility, in a statement. "Now integrated with Salesforce.com, CampaignAbility provides even more intrinsic value to a nonprofit. It completely eliminates a whole layer of administration and gives nonprofits both the efficiency and effectiveness they are looking for—a combination not available with disparate, stand-alone application solutions."

Carrie Picard, director of development at East Coast Assistance Dogs, was an early user of CampaignAbility and CampaignConnect. "As a grassroots organization operating with limited resources in a national capacity, CampaignAbility has been a blessing," she said in a statement. "Our 16-person staff would be hard-pressed to support the integration and implementation of some of the other fundraising tools that are available now. From our past experience with DonorPerfect integration, the new CampaignAbility and NPSP capabilities are leaps and bounds beyond what was expected, and we have only just begun to discover all of the possibilities."
