Attensity Names New President/CEO

Attensity, a provider of enterprise customer communication analytics and engagement solutions, yesterday named J. Kirsten Bay as its new president and CEO, succeeding Ian Bonner, who will continue to serve Attensity as chairman of the board.

Bay brings to Attensity nearly 20 years of strategic process and organizational policy experience derived from the information management, finance, and consumer product industries. She is an expert in advising both the public and private sector on the development of econometric policy models. Most recently, as vice president of commercial business with iSIGHT Partners, Bay provided strategic counsel to Fortune 500 companies on managing intelligence requirements and implementing customer and development programs to integrate intelligence into decision programs.

"Kirsten's ability to develop and implement business process integration plans with growing companies makes her the ideal candidate to lead Attensity," Bonner said in a statement. "I'm delighted to pass the reins on to Kirsten, and am extremely confident of her abilities to guide the company through its next growth phase."

"I am thrilled to join Attensity at such an exciting time," Bay said in the statement. "Attensity is truly the pioneer in developing analytic and engagement products powered by semantic technologies. Mining big data has created a terrific opportunity for Attensity to apply its text analytics and customer engagement solutions in large corporations and the public sector."

Attensity's flagship products include the Attensity Pipeline, a real-time, semantically annotated social media data stream built to collect data from more than 150 million social media and online sources. Results from the Attensity Pipeline are fed to Attensity Analyze, including its Attensity Command Center component for real-time social analytics, with the capability to deliver results to the Attensity Social CRM application, Attensity Respond.
