Accenture Collaborates with Salesforce to Extend Its Accenture CAS Software Suite to the Cloud
Accenture is collaborating with Salesforce to extend the complete Accenture CAS software suite to the Salesforce1 Platform. By bringing the solution to the cloud it will combine the suite of customer management and mobility software of Accenture CAS with the built-in mobile, social, and analytics capabilities of Salesforce's CRM and enterprise cloud platform.
Accenture and Salesforce will offer consumer goods companies a single system of engagement for sales and trade marketing processes. In the first phase of the rollout, which is scheduled for for next year, Accenture CAS Trade Promotion Management and Retail Execution products will be made available on the Salesforce1 Platform. This will enable consumer goods firms to leverage Salesforce's CRM capabilities in sales, service, marketing, and analytics.

"By building Accenture's CAS software products on Salesforce's leading cloud platform, we can help our clients enable direct digital connections with their customers and consumers through enhanced and integrated front-office capabilities."

Accenture CAS provides an integrated software suite that spans sales procesess and operations. By building on the Salesforce1 Platform, Accenture CAS will help new and existing clients to integrate mobile applications into their trade promotion retail execution systems; unify their front- and back-office information; and enhance their trade and sales activities.
Consumer goods companies can also adopt a hybrid approach, as Accenture continues to be committed to the ongoing development and innovation of the market-leading Accenture CAS products both on-premises and as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud-based offering.
